Artists/Australia
Australia's music spans the world's oldest continuous living cultures — the song traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and instruments such as the yidaki (didgeridoo) — alongside folk, jazz, and art music shaped by generations of immigration. Its artists move freely between these worlds, creating contemporary work rooted in place and community.
