Artists/Tanzania
Tanzania's music spans more than a hundred ethnic communities, from the drumming and dance traditions of the mainland to taarab, the sung poetry of Zanzibar and the Swahili coast that blends African, Arab, and Indian influences. The country is also home to vibrant popular styles, including muziki wa dansi and Bongo Flava.
